Call the shots for a fast-paced walking session

Walking has a huge number of benefits associated to it. Activities like walking reduces the chances of suffering from disorders like Type 2 diabetes and Cardiac problems. It also aids in keeping the brain fully functional.

However, a very crucial benefit of walking is its amazing impact on all those extra pounds and rolls of belly fat.  Walking helps you lose weight fast. Keep in mind that the subject of discussion is the benefit of walking and not strolling around!

Always opt for ‘Power Walking’ in case to shed excess weight and that pudgy tummy that only make you look like a pumpkin. Speed walking actually helps you burn more calorie than a slow-paced walking routine. So get into your shoes and be all set for an all energetic brisk walking session.

Soup sloughs off the pounds

A recent study showed that women who had a bowl of soup 20 minutes before their entree lost more weight than women who did not with no other changes in their diet.  The reason was that the soup took the edge off their hunger so they at less at the meal. It takes about 20 minutes -- that's the magic number -- for your brain to receive the message from your tummy that you're full.

Clear soups are better than heavy calorie laden cream soups.  You don't need all that extra fat.  Hot soups have to be sipped slowly, which is another reason that cup of soup helps you lose weight faster.

Check labels to stay under 100 calories a serving and choose lower sodium soups as well.

Burn the Fat

Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle is the perfect book for those that want to follow a healthy eating plan and who really want to understand the science of weight loss and muscle building. It combines a specific exercise plan to compliment the healthy eating and to help you lose more weight.

Of course, everyone knows that you should eat healthy food, but this book makes you actually want to.

What's most interesting about this book, I believe, is that it also offers suggestions of what you can do if the plan isn't working for you. Other diets assume that if you are not losing weight on their plan, you are doing something wrong. Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle actually helps you to figure out what needs to be better and how to tweak it.

The goal setting section of the book also makes it particularly motivating. Venuto offers specific suggestions as to how to incorporate goal planning into your life...and not just goal planning for weight loss.

While some people may be initially put off by the cost of the ebook, it's important to point out that this book is much more comprehensive than most other diet books. And many other diet and fitness programs actually come with a higher price tag, though it's split up into lower monthly payments.

If you're serious about not just losing weight, but about eating healthy and maintaining an active lifestyle, then Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle is the right plan for you.

However, there's nothing particularly bad about this style of eating. If following the Blood Type Diet is a reasonable way for you to begin a healthy eating program, then this is the right diet for you.

Drink Water

Drink a full 8 ounce glass of water every hour or so during the day. The water will help flush toxins out of your system and help keep you feeling full. If you get bored with the taste of plain water, add a slice of citrus, a strawberry, or slice of peach.

Salad Dressing tips

Another tip to lose weight is to reverse your salad and dinner plates. Use the dinner plate and fill it full of salad greens – just be careful with the salad dressing. To cut down on the amount of dressing consumed, place the dressing in a small bowl. Dip your fork in the dressing before you spear your salad. Or use just lemon juice as the dressing. An easy and tasty salad dressing that won't add tons of calories to your menu is to mix equal amounts of vinegar or lemon juice and olive oil. Most recipes call for twice as much oil as vinegar. Add dried or fresh basil, garlic, oregano and you have an Italian dressing. Use tarragon, parsley and garlic and it's French. Add cumin, cilantro, and a few shakes of red pepper flakes and you've made a yummy southwest dressing. Tips to Lose weight fast

Use a fork, spoon and knife

Use utensils even if you're eating a sandwich. It takes time to cut the meal into bite sizes. The tendency is to chew more as well which is better for your digestive system. And here's another simple trick: put your fork down after every bite. Your brain needs about 20 minutes to register that you're full. The longer you take to eat the less you will probably eat.

Quick Trim Tip: Smaller Glasses

The same trick works with drinks. A squat short glass may hold more liquid than a tall skinny one but most people will think they've drunk more when drinking out of the taller glass. Fill the glass with crushed ice before pouring in your drink and save even more calories.

Drink a full 8 ounce glass of water every hour or so during the day. The water will help flush toxins out of your system and help keep you feeling full. If you get bored with the taste of plain water, add a slice of citrus, a strawberry, or slice of peach.
